Congratulations are in order for the team at North Star Housing Group, who have just undergone an interim assessment of their IIP Platinum accreditation. This is a way that North Star can plot the direction of travel between its last accreditation (2017) and its next (2020)
In total 88% of staff took part in the assessment and the assessor stated that he was “highly impressed” as North Star has shown continuous improvement.
The headlines are that 95% of staff trust the leaders in North Star and 98% feel that North Star is a great place to work. In addition 99% of staff feel that North Star has a plan for the future that will ensure its continued success. . Carole Richardson, Director of People and Culture said: “The Platinum standard is only held by 0.5% of accredited companies. The fact that we have improved from an already high standard is fantastic and testimony to the way that we work with our staff to develop them and involve them in the running of the business”
The assessment comes on the back of being shortlisted in the Excellence in Leadership and Management category of the Investors in People Awards 2018.
