Award-winning energy consultancy, The Green Energy Advice Bureau have signed a three-year lease with the Port of Tyne after outgrowing their previous Headquarters at One Trinity Green, South Shields.

The rapidly-growing energy business moved into Atlantic House, a purpose-built single storey office building located within the Port’s secure Tyne Dock Estate, where 60 employees will be based.

As well as their brand new HQ at the Port of Tyne, The Green Energy Advice Bureau have UK offices situated in Manchester and Liverpool, and European offices situated in Spain and Serbia.

Since its inception in 2015, The Green Energy Advice Bureau has expanded rapidly, increasing its headcount by over 100%.

From its HQ at the Port of Tyne, The Green Energy Advice Bureau will employ a range of sales staff, including Sales Team Managers, Energy Consultants, Corporate Pricing Specialists and Lead Generators.

Paul Cobb, Director at The Green Energy Advice Bureau, said: “We decided to take the step to move from One Trinity Green due to our expansion plans.

“The Port is a fantastic location, which allows us access to all the amenities we need moving forward. The Port made our relocation as simple and easy as possible, and we are really excited to be in a position to grow over the next 18 months.”

Andy Kahn, Head of Estates at the Port of Tyne, said: “It’s great to be able to satisfy the needs, and to support the growth of, a successful local company.

“The self-contained business premises with designated parking in a secure, well-maintained environment provide high quality office accommodation, and our diverse property portfolio can work with The Green Energy Advice Bureau’s changing requirements going forward – providing them with the flexibility to grow and adapt in the future.”
