Families are invited to enjoy storytelling, creativity and quality time together as Pudsey visits selected Prezzo Italian restaurants this August
UK, August 2026: Following the launch of its partnership with BBC Children in Need earlier this year, Prezzo Italian is delighted to welcome Pudsey on Tour – Summer Family Book Club to selected restaurants across the UK this August.
Designed to celebrate reading, imagination and quality family time during the summer holidays, the free events will give children and their families the chance to meet Pudsey, enjoy an interactive reading of Pudsey and the Thread of Hope, and take part in a host of fun activities before enjoying lunch together at Prezzo Italian.
Each event will include:
- A meet and greet with Pudsey
- An interactive reading of Pudsey and the Thread of Hope
- Face painting
- Games and activity packs
- Prize giveaways
- Family lunch at Prezzo Italian (food purchased separately)
The Summer Family Book Club forms part of Prezzo Italian’s ongoing partnership with BBC Children in Need, which aims to bring families together while supporting the charity’s work helping children and young people facing challenges across the UK.

- Nottingham – Thursday 13 August
- Manchester MediaCity – Wednesday 19 August
- Chelmsford – Friday 21 August
- Milton Keynes – Tuesday 25 August
- Bury St Edmunds – Thursday 27 August
Each event is free to attend, with food and drinks available to purchase separately. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Once an event reaches capacity, no additional places will be released.
