A well-established recruitment firm has strengthened its team with the appointment of a senior professional.
Avril Leach has joined Newcastle-based Ken Wilson & Associates (KWA) as a recruitment consultant to drive forward sales following a period of rapid growth for the company.
With a strong background in sales, Avril previously ran a recruitment consultancy before moving into business development at a media company, an HR consultancy and an employment law firm.
She joins KWA from employment law consultancy Peninsula Business Services, where she was responsible for developing new accounts in the business-to-business sector.
Avril, who has more than 20 years of recruitment industry experience, said: “I am thrilled to be joining a company that’s on the up. KWA has been part of the North East recruitment scene since 1987 and is helping some fantastic companies to build their skills base.”
KWA specialises in sourcing IT, training, customer service, finance, procurement and sales professionals for a wide range of companies. Its sister company, Direct Recruitment, places blue-collar workers in companies operating in industries such as healthcare, logistics, catering and hospitality.
