RESIDENTS of Redcar and Cleveland are invited to a healthy lifestyle workshop, which offers help and support to those wanting to lead healthier lives.

The two hour interactive session is taking place on Tuesday 25 October at Rye Hills School at 9am and will provide information around physical activity and hands-on cooking.

Members of the public are being encouraged to register onto the session before attending.

Councillor Lynn Pallister, cabinet member for health and housing at Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, said: “This session will be a great way to learn more about how people can lead healthier lifestyles, whether it is information on good diets, portion control or how to cook healthier dishes.

“There will also be information on physical activity and the benefits of regular exercise. Above all else, this session will be a great way to meet people, so I would encourage anyone who may be interested to attend.”

For more information, or if you would like to book onto the session, please call Lesley Gibbin on 07909 906415 or emailLesley.Gibbin@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk
