The race day, which is sponsored by Market Cross Jewellers, is also a fun filled day for families including Page2stage entertainment from characters Dorothy, The Scarecrow, Lion, Glinda and Tinman.

People can buy their tickets over the phone on 01642 484068 during office hours or by visiting Grandstand admission tickets are £15 and Course Enclosure admission tickets are £5 each, which can also be purchased on the day.

Football fans will be able to watch the Middlesbrough v Norwich City SkyBet Championship Play-Off Final at the races, and there is a special admission offer of just £10 for all season ticket holders wearing their Boro shirts on the day.

There are also many options from the Dine & View package in the Crow’s Nest Restaurant, to racegoers’ packages including admission, a racecard, food and drink.
