The Mayor of South Tyneside’s Civic Ball will be held on Saturday, 23 April 2016, 7pm until 1am at Temple Park Centre, John Reid Road, South Shields.

The evening will include a three course meal, wine and entertainment including music from the Motown Supreme, the UK’s best motown tribute act.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Mayor’s Charity which this year is raising funds for Cancer Connections, the Great North Air Ambulance and the South Tyneside branch of the Alzheimer’s Society.

The Mayor of South Tyneside, Councillor Richard Porthouse, said: “The Mayoress and I would like to encourage the people of South Tyneside to join us at this wonderful event and to help raise funds for worthy causes across the Borough.

“Guests will enjoy a delicious evening meal followed by fantastic music and plenty of dancing. It is sure to be a great night. It is also an opportunity for people to help support my chosen charities before my year of office draws to close in May.”

Tickets for the night are priced at £32 and can be bought from the Civic Office, Jarrow Town Hall or by calling (0191) 424 7311 / (0191) 424 7256.
