RMT Accountants & Business Advisors has added to its client services team with the recruitment of experienced finance professional Michael McGee.Michael has joined the Gosforth-based firm’s team of client services managers, and is responsible for helping the business owners within and outside the North East with whom RMT works to identify the commercial strategies they need to implement to meet their business and personal objectives.
He has moved after more than 12 years with regional accountancy practice Harlands, and was attracted to RMT by the opportunities it offered to utilise his skills through developing direct, face-to-face relationships with clients.
Michael says: “I’d come across RMT many times during my career, and had presumed they would operate to the standard model that most accountancy firms adopt, but when I came in to talk to them, I found their vision, working environment and prospects a great deal more ambitious than I had anticipated.
