A Nail Expert and Lead Therapist at Rockliffe Hall’s spa has been short-listed for two top awards which recognise the best talent in the UK nail industry.
Sarah Usher, age 26, from Darlington, is one of just 5 finalists in the Pedicurist of the Year and Manicurist of the Year categories of the Scratch Stars Awards.
Her portfolio of work was picked out from hundreds of entries by nail technicians from all over the country. Sarah, who has worked at Rockliffe Hall’s Spa for 5 years, now faces a final competition day at the London College of Beauty on April 18th where she and the other finalists will perform a Luxury Manicure and a Luxury Pedicure in front of a specialist judging panel.
The winners will be announced at a glamourous awards party at London’s Café de Paris on June 5th.
Sarah, who won Pedicurist of the Year in the 2015 competition, says: “I’m really excited to have been short-listed in two categories this year. I am so passionate about nails and creating beautiful looks for my clients and I’m thrilled that this has been recognised by the judges, so far! I can’t wait for the finals in April and hope to bring both awards back to Rockliffe this year!”
