Sanderson Weatherall Relocates to Stockton

CaptureA leading national firm of chartered surveyors has become the latest commercial occupant of a unique mixed-use development site in Teesside.
Sanderson Weatherall has chosen to relocate its Stockton office to a 1,400 sq ft premises at Bowesfield Park, which sits on the banks of the River Tees in Stockton and which was created by regional employer Banks Property.
Sanderson Weatherall is an award winning, independently owned practice of chartered surveyors, property consultants and business asset advisors.
It joins a number of other commercial occupants, including BHP Law, Archers Law, Handelsbanken, Audi, Lexus, Toyota and nursery chain Kids 1st, at the 35-hectare Bowesfield Park site, which also includes over 230 homes and a 15-hectare wildlife conservation area.
Matthew Clarke, partner in Valuation Services at Sanderson Weatherall, said: “We chose to move to Bowesfield Park as it offers modern, high specification facilities and excellent links to the wider Tees Valley area.
“This is Grade-A office space and we consider ourselves to be a Grade-A surveyor and property consultancy, so the new office is a mark of not just our commitment to Tees Valley, but also our ambition to grow the services offered by firm in the area.
“One of our main strengths is our ability to offer multiple services under one roof, and the new office layout reflects these collaborative working relationships, enabling different departments to work closely together which will continue to benefit our clients.”
Bowesfield Park is a fully integrated mixed-use scheme that was designed by Banks Property to have substantial wildlife habitats and recreational areas sitting alongside commercial and residential spaces.
Plans are currently being progressed to build a further 185 homes on the site in the future.
Stuart Morgan, project manager at Banks Property, adds: “Bowesfield Park is home to many well-known businesses in a range of different business sectors, and we’re very pleased to be welcoming Sanderson Weatherall as its latest commercial tenant.
“Bowesfield Park’s excellent transport links, its proximity to Thornaby, Stockton, Darlington and Middlesbrough, and the huge appeal of the nature reserve have all combined to make it a very impressive development, and as a North East company, we are proud to have brought it forward.”
Simon Taylor, director at commercial property consultants Naylors, who brokered the letting on behalf of Banks Property, comments: “The offices at Bowesfield Park offer a very high level of specification with fantastic riverside views.
“We have a range of suites still available with the two remaining buildings which can accommodate companies of all sizes offering both freehold and leasehold opportunities.’’
