Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

SEE THE DARKER SIDE OF DARLINGTON HIPPODROME

Theatre and backstage tour available to National Lottery ticket holders on Saturday 23 November including a tour of the set for The Woman in Black.

Darlington Hippodrome has a colourful history dating back to 1907. From its formative years as a music hall venue, the one-off appearance of the world’s most famous ballerina Anna Pavlova through to the recent multi-million pound restoration to become a 1000 seat venue with state of the art facilities, Darlington Hippodrome has a lot of secrets to tell.

Learn all about the characters that shaped the theatre’s history, the famous acts who have graced the stage and of course a tale or two of the venue’s ghosts. There will be a tour of the stage currently set up for The Woman in Black and an opportunity to meet members of the cast and production team to learn more about the chilling stage play.

The tour will take place on Saturday 23 November at 10.30am. Places on the tour are free but are limited to just 30 spaces so it is advised to book your space early. You must present a current National Lottery ticket (paper or digital) on collection of your tour ticket – one lottery ticket provides 2 spaces on the tour.

For full details or to book your place on this free tour call the box office on 01325 405405 or visit www.darlingtonhippodrome.co.uk
