Newcastle Building Society has strengthened its Board with the appointment of former Nationwide Building Society director, Bryce Glover, as non executive director.
Newcastle Building Society is the North East’s largest regional building society and was recently voted Best Regional Building Society 2017 in the What Mortgage Awards.
Bryce Glover is a highly experienced director who has operated at Executive Committee and Board level in a number of leading UK financial services businesses.
The majority of his 36 year career has focused on corporate and commercial banking. He was managing director of Commercial Banking at A & L / Santander, before joining Nationwide Building Society in 2009 as director heading its Commercial Division, where he managed a £22bn commercial lending portfolio and the Society’s business savings accounts. He was Nationwide’s Corporate Affairs Director from 2014 to December 2016.
