Following a successful joint event with the IOD in April, CIM has announced the next in its series of senior marketers’ events in the North East.

Hosted at Durham University, the event saw senior marketers discuss the ongoing challenge facing marketers of getting heard in the boardroom.  This sparked some passionate debate and insights included the fact that a marketers’ job title is a crucial factor in being taken seriously.

The next event will be hosted by Sunderland University and will look at the changing role of marketing in higher education.  The roundtable discussion over breakfast will be chaired by Lawrence Bellamy, the new Dean of the Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism at the University of Sunderland.

The event, called ‘Senior Marketers’ Breakfast’, is on 04 October and is invitation only.  However, delegates are welcome to register their interest and find further information www.cim.co.uk/events
