Soweto Spiritual SingersTyne Theatre & Opera House are thrilled to welcome the incredible Soweto Spiritual Singers to their stage on Saturday 3rd September.

A true celebration of unifying sounds, Soweto Spiritual Singers present a towering sensation of exuberance with earthy rhythms and rich harmonies to uplift the soul.

This inspirational show features the world famous 22-strong voices performing incredible acapella and with musical instruments.

With their unique all singing, all dancing performances, the choir leave the audience completely captivated; breathless and often deeply moved. Fresh sounds, inspirational harmonies and fabulous dancing make this an irresistible must-see performance expressing the spirit of Africa.

Soweto Spiritual Singers are under the Direction of founders and creators Nkululeko Vilakazi, Vicky Vilakazi, Thabo Ledimo and Gift Vilakazi-Ledimo. The vocal ensemble have travelled extensively around the world and performed at the FIFA 2010 World Cup Opening Ceremony in Johannesburg to the cheers of billions of people around the globe.
