British_Basketball_League_(emblem)A trio of players all rack up their fifth starting appearances of the season – including two big GB favourites.

Akeem Ellis (Cheshire Phoenix)
It’s the third time that the Phoenix guard has made our fantastic five and his latest berth comes courtesy of him pouring in 23 points to inspire a victory for his side against Surrey Scorchers. Ellis caught fire from long-range and sunk five triples as he registered an eye-catching and all-action display by also contributing eight rebounds, five assists, a block and a steal.

Daryl Corletto (Plymouth University Raiders)
Still leading his team by example on the court, Corletto delivers his fifth starting slot of the campaign after propelling Raiders to a terrific home success against Sheffield Sharks. He also netted 23 points as he kept the Devon club’s Play-Off hopes very much alive. The Australian veteran also came up with five rebounds, four assists and two steals on a memorable night at the Pavilions.

Drew Sullivan (Leicester Riders)
It’s been an excellent time of late for the Great Britain leader and he takes his fifth starting appearance of the season after carrying Riders to a success against Surrey Scorchers to keep their title bid on track. He also added an impressive eight rebounds, four assists and four steals.

It’s a second starting appearance in three weeks for Dixon as he once again spearheaded his team to a victory by conjuring up the joint-best performance of the entire weekend along with Sullivan. He helped cut down the Sharks with a super double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds. There was also plenty of action above the rim as the Raiders’ forward swatted a fabulous four shots, while also snapping up two steals.

Kieron Achara (Glasgow Rocks)
The Molten BBL Player of the Month for February is continuing his rich vein of form into March after the GB ace provided the foundation for Rocks to ease past Manchester Giants. Achara recorded 21 points in the victory to underline his importance to the Glasgow side, as well as hauling down eight rebounds and handing out four assists. He also cements his fifth starting place of the season in our line-up.
