The Stockton Business Improvement District (BID) has appointed a Stockton Borough insurance broker.
Erimus Insurance Brokers based at Preston Farm Industrial Estate will carry out all insurance brokering for the BID as well as many of its members.
Commercial Director at Erimus Insurance Brokers, Paul Davison, said: “We are delighted to be chosen to work on behalf of the Stockton Business Improvement District as we are passionate about supporting local business and participating in local community ventures wherever possible. As the only Top 100 independent insurance broker headquartered in Stockton, we are pleased to see first-hand the positive transformation of the town centre.”
Chair of the BID, Janice Auton, added: “When the BID requires services we will always look to local businesses first so we’re delighted to have appointed Erimus Insurance brokers, a Stockton Borough business who shares our desire to see the town do well and we are looking forward to working with them.
“The BID is led by local business people who want the very best for Stockton Town Centre. We’ve seen a massive transformation in the town over the last few years – it is now a really pleasant place to shop, eat out or spend time with family and friends and there’s lots of investment still going on too, such as the expansion of the Georgian Theatre, the restoration of the Globe and plans for a Hampton by Hilton Hotel. By working together businesses across the town can build on this and encourage more and more people to take advantage of all our wonderful town has to offer.”
The appointment of Erimus Insurance Brokers comes as Karen Hindhaugh takes up the post of BID Manager. She reports directly to the BID Board and will work closely with businesses throughout Stockton Town Centre to stimulate growth, encourage enterprise and attract more visitors and shoppers.
