A STOCKTON business is already seeing the benefits of the Borough hosting the prestigious British Cycling National Road Championships this week.
Alpha Graphics, based on Preston Farm Industrial Estate, have printed 8000 copies of the Official Road Race Programme which is being distributed to anyone who attends.
Sales Director at award winning Alpha Graphics, Hugh Wharton, said: “It has been fantastic to have the opportunity to print such a high quality publication for a national event on our doorstep.
“People from far and wide will be visiting Stockton and seeing our work first hand so it’s great exposure for us and we’re delighted to be involved.”
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Transport, Councillor Nigel Cooke, said: “The economic benefits of hosting an elite event of this scale will be far reaching and I’m really pleased to see local businesses like Alpha Graphics benefit.
“Visitors from right across the country are here for the championships so it’s an excellent opportunity to showcase our Borough on a national stage.”
