Darlington-based BCS Preservation Limited has expanded at Business Central.

As well as acquiring modern office space at the complex on Central Park, the property preservation company are currently in the process of growing the team with the recruitment of a new surveyor.

The company, established over five years ago by Aaron and Michelle Davidson specialises in a number of property concerns including damp proofing, cavity wall tie replacement and radon testing and mitigation.  Michelle explains:

“BCS already occupies an industrial unit in Darlington however Aaron and I felt we needed an office space that would allow us to take a step back from some of the areas that distract us from the main aspects of managing the business. We also required additional space as the team starts to increase.

“Business Central was recommended to us by an existing tenant. It’s in an ideal location and provides our company with a smart, professional space ideal for meeting potential customers. As it’s not too far away from our other base in Darlington we can commute between the two quite easily.

“There are also many opportunities to network at Business Central which can only be a benefit to the business.  I look forward to getting more involved in the coming year.”

BCS carries out work on behalf of surveyors, local authorities, letting agents and homeowners across the UK, Michelle continues:

“The rise in new contracts has allowed us to increase the workforce, and over the next 12 months we are confident that we will be able to maintain a steady growth. There are opportunities for us to work outside of the UK, but that’s something to explore in the future, right now we are happy as we are.”

Vanessa Wood centre manager at Business Central commented:

“I’m delighted we have been able to accommodate another growing business in Darlington. It’s fantastic that Aaron and Michelle have been able to retain their existing premises for industrial purposes, but also make use of our state of the art facilities.”
