Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

SUNDERLAND BUSINESSES CAN TEST THEIR PING PONG SKILLS AT THE BRIDGES

A LEADING North East shopping centre is inviting businesses to down their tools and pick up a bat at a unique event next week (17 May).

Sunderland’s The Bridges recently unveiled a new Ping Pong Parlour in the centre, which is free to play for shoppers who want to test their skills during their visit.

And the centre has teamed up with Active Sunderland and Imagine Table Tennis to host a special event for local companies, bloggers, students and ping pong players on 17 May.

The Ping Pong Parlour will be decorated with UV lights and a disco ball for the occasion and will also have a special appearance from Imagine Table Tennis’ robot competitor, which will play ping pong with invited guests.

Andy Bradley, centre director at the Bridges, believes the space could be a great for businesses.

“We’re had a great response to the Ping Pong Parlour so far and our shoppers are really enjoying the chance to take a break and play during their visit,” said Andy.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming people from the local business community to check out the parlour next week at what I’m sure will be a brilliant event.

“The space has fantastic potential for groups of all ages and table tennis is a great tool to use for networking and team building.”
