Visitors to Haven Point leisure complex in South Shields are advised that only the Leisure Waters will be open this Sunday (3 July) as the centre hosts a swimming gala.
The Main Pool, Teaching Pool and sauna and steam room will be closed to the public to enable the Northumberland and Durham Swimming Association County Masters Swimming Gala to take place.
The Leisure Waters, which features a bubble spa, spray and water play, will not be affected by this and will remain open. However, sessions will be limited to 40 minutes to help manage demand.
Multi and Duo Activity members who have the swim option as part of their Get Active membership are reminded that they can access Jarrow Community Pool and Hebburn Central at no extra cost while the gala takes place.
