Tech Experts Win Elite Award

TECHNOLOGY expert ITPS is one of only five businesses across the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to have received an elite award for its work helping organisations cut costs by using internet-enabled technology to integrate IT, telephony and messaging communications over a single voice, data and video network.

The Gateshead-based company has been awarded Circle of Excellence status from global telecoms group ShoreTel, in recognition of its exceptional achievement in helping clients to reap the cost and efficiency benefits of unified communications (UC).

The UC market is set to be worth £114bn by 2024, and is the fastest-growing area of ITPS’s portfolio, which includes IT consultancy and implementation, data centre services and support, business continuity and disaster recovery services.

To win the coveted status, ITPS was assessed on factors such as customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and proficiency with advanced applications of communications tools.

Gary Ross, account director of ITPS’s UC team, said: “It is an honour to win Circle of Excellence status from ShoreTel, particularly as one of the key criteria is being able to display a high level of customer satisfaction.
