Teesside Homes can Benefit from Free Energy Efficiency Measures

Screen Shot 2015-06-24 at 10.42.32SMART Teesside residents who are thinking ahead may be able to benefit from a range of free energy efficiency measures.

At this time of year most people aren’t thinking about the colder months, but according to a leading not-for-profit energy those who take precautions now can reap long term benefits.

Stockton-based Community Energy Solutions is now able to offer homes across Teesside free cavity wall and loft insulation, subject to them meeting certain criteria.

And that means people in houses who don’t have these measures already installed can not only enjoy warmer homes but can also save on energy bills.

The company is also offering to give anyone who has the measures a free Energy Performance Certificate, which is now a legal requirement for any home which is going to be sold or rented.

“We realise at this time of year that winter is the last thing on most people’s minds,” said Karen Hindhaugh, Operations Director of CES.

“But ensuring your home is properly insulated now, particularly when we are able to offer free cavity wall and loft insulation, can make the colder months much more bearable.

“The fact that we can also complete an Energy Performance Certificate on the houses that have these measures is an added bonus, as every home which is up for sale or rent now requires one.”

Anyone who wants to find out if their home is eligible should contact CES on 01642 605130.
