North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Teesside Park is preparing to welcome visitors back from next week, as the Government confirms that the country will move into Step 2 of its roadmap out of lockdown.

From 12th April, non-essential stores such as JD Sports, TK Maxx and Pandora will be open once again.

A selection of restaurants and cafes such as Nando’s, Fridays, Greggs and Costa Coffee will continue to offer takeaway, click and collect or delivery options, while some may be able to offer outdoor seating.

To help keep everybody safe, the retail park will continue to have its hand sanitising stations and enhanced cleaning regimes in place.

All visitors must wear a face covering when inside stores unless exempt for medical reasons, and the Teesside Park team will be available to help and assist shoppers to ensure everyone has a safe shopping experience.

Visitor numbers will be carefully managed to make sure everyone can maintain social distancing. If the retail park or any of the stores become particularly busy, visitors may be asked to queue considerately in designated outdoor areas.

Catherine Furlong, Centre Director at Teesside Park, said: “We know many of our customers are very excited about the reopening, and we are equally as excited to welcome them back. It’s also a significant milestone for our retailers, and we’re looking forward to them opening their doors once again.

“It’s of course really important that we all continue to work together to help keep everybody safe. Everyone visiting us in the coming weeks can expect to see all of our extra safety measures still in place, and our team will be available to help shoppers as they return to Teesside Park.”

Opening times and policies of individual retailers may vary, so it is always recommended that you check with them directly before setting off.
