Screen Shot 2015-07-20 at 13.09.11Tenants across County Durham are being reminded to have their say on the services that affect them.

Local landlords Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes have issued their Annual Survey of Tenants and Residents, STAR, to 11,000 randomly selected customers.

The three landlords, as part of County Durham Housing Group, are reminding survey recipients that they have until by 5pm on Monday, 17 August to take part, either by post or online at www.opinionresearch.co.uk/STAR2015

Rachel Edmunds, Head of Service Improvement at Durham City Homes, said: “We are asking around half of all tenants across the group how they rate things like the quality of their home, the standard of their estate, and how they choose to receive day-to-day housing services.”

Joe Gash, Performance and Quality Manager at East Durham Homes, continued: “The STAR survey is really important to all of us as landlords to gauge an overall picture of how our customers feel about our services.”

“This is your chance to have your say. It will only take a few minutes to complete and the outcome will help us to take the right steps in improving homes and estates across the county,” said Brian Abbott, Performance Manager at Dale & Valley Homes.

Customers who take part will have the opportunity to be entered into a free prize draw with the chance of winning up to £200 of shopping vouchers.

Customers who have any queries about the survey, including requests for large print or other alternative formats, should contact Catherine Nock at Opinion Research Services Ltd (ORS) on 01792 535 335 or email catherine.nock@ors.org.uk

A similar survey will be conducted in 2016 for those tenants not contacted this year – for more information email performance@cdhg.co.uk
