AN initiative which gives corporate visitors to St James’ Park that Friday feeling, is being rolled out to the rest of the working week – for one month only.
Thank Frankie it’s Friday offers businesses who book a Friday meeting conference or event at the Newcastle United stadium a series of special, end-of-the-week perks.
And now the man behind the plan, Frankie Angus, who heads the Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events hospitality team at the venue, is extending the offer throughout the entire month of November.
Corporate clients who book one of the stadium’s function rooms, suites or executive boxes for any date in November, excluding weekends, will not only benefit from a reduced daily delegate rate, but will also be treated to a variety of added extras.
These include Danish pastries served alongside tea and coffee on arrival, mid- morning beverages and biscuits and a hot and cold finger buffet, including bite-sized portions of traditional fish and chips.
In the afternoon, delegates, who will also enjoy free on-site parking, pre-booked free WiFi and event stationary, will each be given hot drinks and a chocolate bar.
Along with spacious and flexible function rooms, St James’ Park boasts one of the biggest banqueting suites in the region, capable of holding up to 1000 guests, while conference organisers opting for an executive box can enjoy superb views of the pitch.
Frankie, said: “November can be quite a hectic month as businesses prepare for the Christmas break, staff annual leave and festive deadlines.
“By extending our Thank Frankie it’s Friday offer we are not only offering them a meeting venue at a special price every day of the working week in November, but also some little treats that will make business even more of a pleasure.”
The Thank Frankie package costs from £25 per delegate and is subject to minimum numbers and availability.
