Easter celebrations at Alnwick Garden

The Alnwick Garden’s Easter timetable is jam-packed with exciting activities for visitors of all ages, including Easter trails, duck races and the blossom in full bloom. With new tickets on offer, and four children going free with every paying adult, there’s an option for everyone this April.

Reg’s Easter Trail (8-20 April): Reg the Hedge has had a Spring makeover and is playing a huge game of hide and seek. Follow clues around The Garden to complete the trail and help him find his family. Then, head to the Atrium to collect a special prize.

Soar into Spring (12-27 April): At Lilidorei, Spring celebrations are in full swing! Collect your trail card and solve the riddles to locate the golden eggs, hidden throughout the magical village. Enjoy story time with the Secret Keepers, play seasonal games on the green, and watch out for the soaring birds, who fly over Lilidorei throughout the day.

Blossoms in Full Bloom (12-26 April): The Alnwick Garden’s breathtaking Cherry Orchard will soon be in full bloom. A sure sign of Spring, these 329 Tai Haku trees are expected to flower from the 12th of April. For visitors who’d like to visit after work, a new £5 ticket lets you do just that. From 14th to 20th April, come along to The Garden from 5pm-7pm, to go for a Springtime stroll around the Orchard.

The Annual Duck Race (19th April): The Garden’s annual duck race is back! Come along to The Garden on Saturday, 19th April and watch thousands of rubber ducks launch from The Grand Cascade. Buy your duck for just £2 and help raise money for Alnwick & District Round Table, which supports a host of amazing causes each year.
