Rockliffe Hall has been named among the best in the world, based on customer feedback.
The 5* resort’s accommodation facilities, Orangery restaurant and afternoon teas have all been awarded a coveted Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor- for the fourth year running- in recognition of consistently high visitor ratings.
The five star resort, which opened five years ago, is also rated as the best in the North of England by the AA and this recent accolade places it among the top 10% of accommodation, restaurants and attractions listed on TripAdvisor. Rockliffe Hall is the AA’s highest rated hotel in the North of England with 5 red stars.
Chief executive of Rockliffe Hall, Eamonn Elliott, said: “The main focus at Rockliffe Hall is always on delivering great service to our customers. TripAdvisor plays an important role in both helping people to make informed decisions and also in allowing hotels and restaurants to stand out from the competition. We’re really pleased to have again clinched the accolade as we continue to progress and strive to surpass expectations.”
The spa has become one of the most successful in the UK and is the only spa in the North to again receive the Good Spa Guide award for Sheer Luxury, competing against high profile spas including Dormy House, Chewton Glen and Pennyhill Park.
A new Spa Garden is due to open at Rockliffe Hall in August with features including outdoor hot pools, an infinity edge hydrotherapy pool with massage features and a warm Jacuzzi, under-floor heated decking and lounging areas, a garden room with a traditional glass-fronted sauna cabin, fire pit, water feature, landscaped gardens with views across Rockliffe Hall’s grounds and heated relaxation loungers.
