THE only awards that celebrate the best bloggers in the North East has announced its shortlist yesterday (Wednesday 7 October).
Categories in the North East Blogger Awards include; beauty, business, food and drink lifestyle, parenting, student, travel and new categories for 2015 include best instablogger, best looking blog, music and homes and interiors. Once again the competition will culminate in the North East Blogger of the Year award sponsored by Intu Metrocentre.

The judging committee is made up of Holly Peacock from the team behind the North East Blogger Awards – Newcastle integrated PR, digital and creative communications agency O. She is joined by last year’s North East Blogger of the Year winner Samantha Rickelton of North East Family Fun blog and a judge from each of the category sponsors.
O PR’s digital strategist Holly Peacock said: “This year we received over 650 nominations across some really impressive blogs, which made the judging a long and interesting task!
“It really is great to see so many digital influencers right here in our region making such big impressions. Bloggers certainly should now be an integral part of any brand digital marketing strategy.
“The ceremony will be a fun packed evening of inspiration, networking and a celebration of the region’s best bloggers – we can’t wait to announce the winners.”
This year the awards has a new venue sponsor and will be held on Tuesday 10 November from 7:00pm at Bonbar, located in the heart of the iconic Assembly Rooms building in Newcastle. The event will be hosted by compere Dan Black from Metro Radio.
