Simon Bailes Peugeot has strengthened its status as the UK’s most accredited Peugeot dealership after securing another industry award.
The Teesside and North Yorkshire-based business, with locations in Northallerton, Guisborough and Stockton-on-Tees, has recently won its 24th Guild of Gold Lion accreditations.
Peugeot presents its Guild of Gold Lion awards annually to businesses providing the very highest standards in sales, service and customer satisfaction and for being the best-performing dealerships.
Simon Bailes Peugeot- now one of the highest rated Peugeot dealerships in Europe- was honoured in recognition of the company’s strong performance and continued growth, cementing its position as one of the UK’s leading Peugeot franchises as it continues to grow more rapidly than expected, despite difficult trading conditions in the last two years.
The award comes after a successful 2014 for Simon Bailes Peugeot which saw the business retain its Investors in People status, recruit several new members of staff and launch a number of new products, including Peugeot’s compact city car – the 108- and the new 308, which won the ultimate motoring accolade as 2014 Car of the Year.
Of over 250 dealerships in the UK, the Guild of Gold Lion award is only presented to the top 35 that meet a number of stringent criteria focussing on aspects such as customer satisfaction, service levels and business performance. Simon received his award from Stéphane Le Guével, managing director of Peugeot UK, in front of the whole dealer network at the National Peugeot Dealer Conference.

Simon Bailes Peugeot was established in 1979 and employs around 105 people at its three dealerships across the region.
