A GROUP that celebrates the friendships fostered through the town-twinning of Middlesbrough and Oberhausen is looking for new members.
Middlesbrough Oberhausen Town Twinning (MOTT) aims to develop both friendship and cultural relationships through communications and exchange visits.
Aside from their visits to Germany, MOTT members occasionally meet locally for a coffee or a pub lunch simply to socialise and build friendships.
Each year the group also raises money for charity and last year chose the Great North Air Ambulance to fundraise for. A cheque was presented to the charity in a ceremony at Middlesbrough Town Hall with both sides of the Anglo-German partnership present.
Anyone interested in exchange visits and making new friends who would like more information should contact Shirley Alexander, Chairman of MOTT, on 01642 319595.
