Mobile Mini, a leading hirer of site accommodation and secure storage containers, with its UK headquarters in Stockton on Tees, has welcomed three new directors to its UK Executive Team.
The newly-appointed directors will help to drive forward Mobile Mini’s UK operations as it seeks further growth in its core construction markets, as well as helping to develop new markets.
Andrew Thompson (40) from Newton Aycliffe has been appointed as Regional Director North. The former Operations Director at equipment hire specialist Hewden will oversee depots from Glasgow to Nottingham, harnessing his passion for customer service to build upon Mobile Mini’s first class service and safety record, while continuing to drive operational improvements to the business.

David Wilson (45) from Wakefield has joined as Sales Director and will take the lead on Mobile Mini’s sales strategy. He brings with him 20 years of experience within the construction and rental industries, at companies such as Tarmac and Portakabin, and will help the business adapt to changing customer requirements while meeting industry challenges.
David said: “During my many years within the industry, the need to provide outstanding customer service has remained a constant determining factor in the success of a business. Mobile Mini has the agility and flexibility required to meet the needs of our customers.
“The company has also invested in the development of an engaged and focussed sales force, and I look forward to motivating and guiding this team in my new position as Sales Director.”
Finally, Sarah James (38) from County Durham has been appointed Finance Director. With years of corporate accounting experience, working for major companies such as Nestle and Philips Electronics, her role will see her lead Mobile Mini’s finance team, formulating and implementing the company’s financial strategy.
Sarah said: “Our company culture is one of support, development and success, and it’s great to be empowered to make the changes and improvements that will have a positive impact on the business’s efficiency.”
Chris Morgan, UK Managing Director at Mobile Mini, commented: “Our priority is to maintain our market leading position within the industry. Our newly appointed Directors will strengthen leadership across the company and drive forward operational efficiency, people development and our excellent customer service and safety record.
“I welcome Andrew, David and Sarah to our talented team of people and look forward to working closely with them to drive growth and investment in the UK.”
