Technology Services Group (TSG) has won its 6th consecutive “UK Small Business Partner of the Year Award” at the 2016 EMEA Sophos Discover Partner Conference in Cannes, France. The conference celebrates the successes of Sophos partners throughout EMEA and helps them take advantage of the latest business opportunities within the fast-moving IT security marketplace.
TSG won their award for their outstanding performance in the past year and their commitment and dedication to selling Sophos.
James Vyvyan, Regional VP at Sophos, said, “It is always a great pleasure to be able to meet our partners face to face at these events as they play a crucial role in our success as a business. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gather feedback, to hear our partners’ validation of our strategy across the endpoint and network and to see it helping to make their businesses a success. I am delighted TSG has won the award for Sophos Small Business Partner of the Year for the UK. They have had a fantastic year and it’s very well deserved.”
Paul Burns, Chief Technology Officer at TSG elaborated on the significance of this award. “This is great news for TSG and goes to show how all the hard work put in by everyone to make sure they know their stuff helps us stand out above our competition in yet another key area of technology.”
“Our commitment to training our people to be as skilled and knowledgeable as possible has meant our Sophos qualified team of specialists now stands at an incredible 46 architects and engineers. When you think that the most engineers the majority of other Sophos partners have is about 8 this easily demonstrates why TSG are one of only two Sophos Platinum Partners in the UK.”
The conference in Cannes also gave TSG a great chance to talk to other large partners from around the world and have a one to one meeting with Kris Hagerman, CEO at Sophos discussing a wide range of security topics and strategy.
Paul Burns continued “Having a one to one conversation at CEO level gives us the perfect platform to represent our customers directly in front of Sophos and feedback what we see amongst their product stack working well or not ultimately improving the experience for our customers.”
The EMEA conference in Cannes is the first of Sophos’ three annual partner conferences this year. It saw Sophos CEO Kris Hagerman and the executive leadership team deliver keynote sessions on Sophos strategy, its partner commitments and the broader future of the IT security industry, in front of over 700 people attending the Sophos sales and partner event. Partners also attended a packed agenda of breakout sessions delivered by key business, product, technical and sales experts.
