Tynedale Hospice at Home is looking for people who are passionate about making a difference in their community to join its Board of Trustees.
Tynedale Hospice at Home is a Northumberland-based charity providing nursing care in the home, Hospital Transport and Family Support Services to people living in the areas of West Northumberland, Tynedale and Ponteland.
It serves a community of around 70,000 people across 800 square miles of rural Northumberland. Recent significant achievements include a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), a move to new premises and partnership working with other hospices in the area.
Anne Francis, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said: “This really is an exciting time be joining the Board. We have seen some significant achievements over the last year, including a positive CQC rating, and a move to new offices. We also have a new five year strategy that will seek to develop our services.
“We would love to hear from people who can support and enhance the skill set of our current Board and help drive our strategy forward. In particular, we are looking for energetic, talented and committed people with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, who are used to being in a people-focused environment, and who can formulate and implement strategy.
“There is training and development available to support you in the role and the opportunity to work with a fantastic team of staff and volunteers who have the caring ethos of the Hospice at its heart, all working to support much needed services in the local area.”
