THE Dorman Museum’s popular Once Upon a Time… exhibition is offering free admission in the run-up to Christmas.
The exhibition – featuring a variety of objects from the museum’s own collections and magnificent paintings from Hartlepool Museums – recaptures the magic of childhood and illustrates a wide range of popular fairy tales and nursery rhymes.
Extended from the summer, the exhibition will be open 9.30am to 4.30pm (normal museum opening times) Tuesday to Sunday, with a last chance to see it on Friday, December 30.
Christmas and New Year opening times:
Monday, December 19 – Friday, December 23 Open
Saturday, December 24 – Tuesday, December 27 Closed
Wednesday, December 28 – Friday, December 30 Open
Saturday, December 31 – Friday, January 6 Closed (New Year and annual maintenance week)
Saturday, January 7 Normal opening
