Sunderland will be filled with love this weekend, as the city’s biggest wedding show makes a welcome return to the Stadium of Light.
The Wedding Wonder Show, on Sunday February 8, will feature more than 100 exhibitors from across the North East, covering everything from cakes and cars to flowers and decorations.
Stalls will be spread across five function rooms on the stadium’s first floor, including a dedicated shoe zone featuring the latest bridal footwear, as well as live entertainment throughout the afternoon.
As a highlight of the event, which runs from 12pm until 3pm, guests will be given an exclusive glimpse of the latest spring/summer gowns from renowned wedding designer Maggie Sottero, in a special fashion show sponsored by Amore Brides.
There will also be a chance for them to win their own Alfred Angelo wedding dress, which is being given away in a free prize draw courtesy of First Glance bridalwear boutique, Sunderland.
Entry for the Wedding Wonder Show, priced at £2 per person or £6 for a family of four, can be paid on the door but anyone who books in advance online will receive a complimentary goodie bag worth £15.
This includes truffles from Jenny Penny Cakes and Chocolate, Sunderland and hair products from milk_shake, courtesy of Neville Ramsay’s A-List salon.
