North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Visitors to Helmsley can now find out more about this delightful market town with two new information boards.

In partnership with Helmsley in Business, Ryedale District Council have just unveiled the new information boards which will help visitors enjoy the market town and to find tourist information about Ryedale.

The two boards located at the Cleveland Way car park have been designed with new images of the local area, text and maps to help people make the most of Helmsley and the surrounding Ryedale area. The new ‘QR’ graphic takes smart phone users directly to the www.visitryedale.co.uk website for information on accommodation, events and attractions in the area.

The signs were created by Norton-based company Ten Fathoms, designers of the visitor information boards recently produced for Ryedale’s other market towns.

Ryedale District Council’s Visitor Economy Officer, Craig Nattress said: “The new information boards have been designed  to reflect the welcome offered to visitors on arrival in Helmsley whilst also highlighting the diversity of the visitor experience the wider area has to offer.”
