Visitors to Kirkbymoorside can now find out more about this delightful market town with a new information sign.
The sign – which is incorporated into the town council notice board on Market Place has been created with new images courtesy of RJB Photopgraphic, text and maps to help people make the most of all that Kirkbymoorside and the surrounding Ryedale area has to offer.
The new ‘QR’ graphic takes smart phone users directly to the www.VisitRyedale.co.uk website for information on accommodation, events and attractions in Ryedale.
Ryedale District Council’s Visitor Economy Officer, Craig Nattress said: “The new information board has been designed to reflect the welcome offered to visitors on arrival in Kirkbymoorside whilst also highlighting the diversity of the visitor experience the wider area has to offer.”
Provided as part of a partnership between Ryedale District and Kirkbymoorside Town Council, the sign was created by Norton-based company Ten Fathoms, designers of the visitor signs recently installed at Malton Railway Station.
