Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Who will win the Scottish Premier League 2018/19

Is there any team out there that can stop the might of Celtic? They are aiming for their eighth straight consecutive Scottish Premier League Title.

This season so far has offered up a number of new surprises in the Scottish Premier League. Rangers Under Gerrard look to be a tougher opponent and The early run from Hearts. So who do we think will have chance of getting anywhere in the premier league this year?

Brendan Rodgers

Brendan Rodgers Celtic are going for a unprecedented treble treble. And Celtic are on the cards to do it this season. However at the start of the season they made hard work of it loosing early on. This meant that normal chasing pack were out in front.

Some people will say that yet again as Celtic are top and they are have the best record in the league so far that nothing has changed. However a lot has changed as at this stage of the season they are only joint top instead of being on top by 10-15 points.

The Gerrard Effect

Resurgent Rangers have jumped back into contention for the Scottish Premier League after a brilliant start in the league. Steven Gerrard came into the managerial position as a novice and has already earn some great success in the league and europe.

The effect that Steven Gerrard has had on Glasgow Rangers has been that of amazing progression. The question is, Can Steven Gerrard stop the Celtic dominance, or will Celtic just steamroll through another season. It will be an amazing thing if Steven Gerrard can top the Celtic dominance.

Kilmarnock

Steve Clarke, the ex chelsea man has guided Kilmarnock on a very quite path to third in the league. He has just go on with the job at hand and is at present only 1 point of Celtic and Rangers. Every tho Steven Gerrard has had a magical effect on Glasgow Rangers, you have to say that Steve Clarke has done an amazing job. If he could win the league he would up there with manager such as Sir Alex Ferguson.

What do the sports analysts say,

Celtic (2/7) are massive favorites to win their eighth straight Premiership title according to Sascha Paruk from Sports Betting Dime, even though they are currently level with Rangers (3/1) and just a point up on Kilmarnock (50/1). Now is not the time to fade the champs, as the race isn’t as close as it appears at first glance. Not only does Celtic have a game in hand on the rest of the top five (a home game vs 11th-place St. Mirren), they also get to host their third match with Rangers. Recognizing that they are a perfect 9-0-0 at Celtic Park this season, bettors can pencil in a six-point edge over their Old Firm rivals.
