Yarm School is holding an Open Morning to allow prospective pupils and their families to view the stunning facilities and meet teachers and students.
On Saturday 28th September 2019, between 9am and 12pm the Prep School, Senior School and Sixth Form will welcome visitors.
Open Morning is an ideal opportunity for parents and children to see the school in action, and learn about the superb range of opportunities it offers from its staff and pupils. This will be the first open morning under the new Headmaster and a chance for prospective parents to meet Dr Williams.
Yarm School celebrated its best A-Level results in several years in 2019. The school’s A* and A*/ A rates are above the five-year average (23% and 55% respectively). The school’s A* rate was more than three times higher than that of the North East.
It also achieved superb GCSE results in the first year when all subjects were awarded using the 9-1 system. 64% of all grades awarded to Yarm School pupils were at 9-7, with a phenomenal 22% at the highest possible grade of 9.
Seventeen pupils attained the extraordinary achievement of ten or more results at grades 9/8, twelve of whom secured a fantastic eight or more results at grade 9.
