ENTREPREUNEURIAL young people from across Stockton Borough will be joining traders this Wednesday (18 March) at the traditional market in Stockton Town Centre.

A variety of Easter themed goods will be on sale at the market as the budding entrepreneurs, including pupils from Christ the King Primary School in Thornaby and youngsters from the Eastern Ravens Trust, try their hand at market trading to boost their skills and gain experience of a retail environment.

Councillor Ann McCoy, Stockton Council’s Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “This Easter market is a superb opportunity for some of our young people to try their hand at trading which will boost their confidence and skills at the same time.

“I would encourage residents from across Stockton Borough and visitors from wider afield to come to our bustling market to show your support and pick up some great products in time for the Easter holidays.”

The market will be held between 10am and 2pm.
