Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

YoungsRPS Gain Local Property Professional

The Newcastle office of YoungsRPS have announced the appointment of Stephanie Dixon as Commercial Surveyor within their Commercial Property Department.

With an increasing volume of work, this role will see Stephanie assist the commercial team in the Newcastle office whilst focusing on commercial agency, management and professional work.

Operating across the north of England, in the commercial, agricultural and residential sectors, YoungsRPS are a leading firm of chartered surveyors and property consultants, managing a diverse range of properties.

Their commercial team, based in Newcastle, covers all areas of commercial property including property management, sales and lettings, development, investment, valuations, rent reviews and lease renewals.

A graduate from Manchester University with an Honours Degree in Business Studies, upon finishing her degree, Stephanie moved back home to Newcastle where she worked as an estate agent in Jesmond, gaining valuable experience in residential sales and lettings. From this experience, it then led her to become Branch Manager in 2013 for a local residential and commercial estate agent and opening a new Branch in Newcastle City Centre in 2014.

It was at this time that Stephanie realised she had an interest in commercial property so joined a firm of chartered surveyors in Newcastle. Commenting on her new appointment, Stephanie said:

“I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to work for YoungsRPS, a firm of chartered surveyors in the heart of Newcastle city centre. The office is very accessible for clients and tenants allowing us to provide the best possible service. The commercial department of YoungsRPS is a small but highly experienced team, and with it being a busy practice, it will enable me to gain an in-depth knowledge of all areas of commercial surveying rather than being assigned to one aspect as I would be in a larger firm. My level of responsibility is also greater meaning I can build trusting relationships with clients and tenants”.

With five years’ experience working in the commercial sector, predominantly in agency, asset management and property management, Stephanie is currently studying to become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Alongside this, Stephanie is also an active member of the RICS North East Matrics committee catering for the younger members of the profession, sitting on the board as Vice Chairman.

Michael Blake, Director of YoungsRPS at the Newcastle office, added: “I am looking forward to working with Stephanie. She has a breadth of experience in commercial property and estate agency, and I am positive she will be an asset to the company as we continue to expand the business.”
