Automobiles of every size and type will be gathering at the Head of Steam – Darlington Railway Museum later this month (May) for its annual Vintage Vehicle Rally.

A variety of vintage and unusual vehicles from across the region and beyond will be on show with cars, buses, motorcycles and bicycles.

The rally will take place on the museum’s event field, on Sunday 21 May, 10am-4pm, and there will be a host of other entertainment for all the family including juggler/balloon modeller and miniature train rides. Some vintage stalls will also be inside the museum.

Sarah Gouldsbrough, Acting Manager at the Head of Steam, said:

“Our Vintage Vehicle Rally has proved a popular addition to our summer events programme and offers a great day out for the whole family.

“As well as giving people a chance to see a great array of vintage vehicles, there is also the opportunity to visit the museum and see our permanent exhibitions.”

Entry is just £1, which includes admission to the museum and vehicle exhibitors will also gain free entry to the museum with their exhibitor pass. Annual family pass members go free.
