Charlotte Nichols, managing director of Darlington PR firm Harvey and Hugo, is hoping to raise money for Asthma UK by running the Edinburgh marathon on 31st May.

Charlotte said: “After taking part in the Great North Run last year, I’m really excited to take the next step by running a marathon. It’ll be tough, but definitely worth it”.

Charlotte is hoping to raise money for Asthma UK, a charity helping over 5 million people who suffer from asthma in the UK.

She added: “I’ve lost a friend to asthma so it’s a cause that’s very close to my heart. I really hope I can raise enough funds to reach my goal of £500.”

The fitness mad PR guru, has always recognised the value that keeping active has, especially to people in business.

Charlotte said: “Running is a great release, especially for busy people working long hours.

Everyone needs something to help de-stress and clear your mind, especially in business.”

With over 30,000 runners taking part, the Edinburgh Marathon promises to be a great event, with lots of worthy causes.
