GATESHEAD businesswoman Luisa Scott opened Newcastle Skin Clinic in 2014 and is making waves in two major UK cities following a successful 12 months.
Off the back of picking up nine award nominations in the last year alone including being named in the WIN Awards Rising Star category, Luisa has expanded into new North East premises, whilst maintaining her established presence in London.
The clinic, which specialises in non-surgical aesthetics, has moved from Jesmond to two key locations in Gateshead, relocating all three members of the regional team to take a 1500 sq ft space in Gym Etc. in Team Valley and Metropolitan House in Swalwell.
Additionally, two jobs have been created along with new opportunities that have opened up within the business including an in-house training centre and online shop offering award winning products and signature treatments such as the ‘Luisa Lift’.
As well as expansion within this region, Luisa has continued to build her client base in London and has set up a clinic in the affluent area of Belgravia. Luisa and the team operate once a month from the satellite clinic offering treatments to clients from around the capital and those who fly in especially from Europe.
Trained by Harley Street cosmetic surgeons and having worked alongside industry leaders in high end department store Harrods Medispa, Luisa’s extensive experience and skills, paired with the growth of the clinic, have been recognised by both national and regional awards over the last 12 months.
Nominations include Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of the Year in the Aesthetic Awards 2016 and Best Medical Aesthetic Clinic in the Professional Beauty Awards 2017, as well as featuring in multiple categories in the Diamond Awards 2016 and My Face, My Body Awards 2016.
Most recently, Luisa was shortlisted in the Rising Star category of this year’s WIN Awards, for her achievements since opening Newcastle Skin Clinic, with the awards ceremony taking placeat The Hilton in Gateshead on 27 October 2017.
Luisa said: “Due to demand we made the decision to move to bigger premises in the North East and in tandem have expanded in London with our new Belgravia clinic. With more space and new equipment in the clinics, we can welcome more clients and offer specialist treatments and procedures.
“We have been present in London for the past seven years and are excited to see what the future holds for us. It’s always been my dream to run my own clinic, and I never thought I’d be operating from two cities. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed ahead of the WIN Awards ceremony later this month and prepare for what we hope to be a busy period in the run up to Christmas.”
