Alpamare Scarborough, the brand new multi-feature, alpine themed £14m waterpark, due to open on the Yorkshire coast on Thursday 28 July, is looking for fun and thrill seeking waterpark fans to become official Alpamare slide testers.
Within the next week, in readiness for opening, Alpamare will start to test its state-of-the art waterslides. To help this vital part of the pre-opening preparations go with a splash, fit and healthy slide testers are required to help out.
Dr Anton Hoefter, Alpamare Chief Executive Officer said:
“If you dare to try out our cool slides, we want to hear from you! Not only could you be one of the very first people to experience the thrill of the UK’s longest and fastest waterslides, you’ll also get a chance to get a sneak preview of the rest of our wonderful waterpark before it opens to the public.”
Anyone who wants to be a slide tester should apply by sending a message via Alpamare’s Facebook page (facebook.com/AlpamareUK) or an email to slides@alpamare.co.uk stating their name and contact telephone number. Applicants should have the flexibility to attend the waterpark on Burniston Road, Scarborough, YO12 6PH, between Thursday 21 and Sunday 24 July. Testers will be selected at random from all those that apply and the lucky testers will be called to be advised of their success and given further details of how the testing will work.
Alpamare has issued the following disclaimer to all those interested in applying: the use of all the slides at Alpamare Scarborough is at your own risk. Waterslides are sports equipment. All liabilities are declined. Testers should only slide only in appropriate swimwear.
