An advice service for Hambleton residents is expanding – this is thanks to ongoing support from the Big Lottery Fund.

A free, independent, impartial and confidential advice drop in session provided by Citizen Advice Hambleton, Richmondshire and Selby & District is taking place every week at Thirsk Clock as well as the continued outreach surgeries in the other rural parts of the area – the first session took place on Wednesday (21 June).

Advice and Project Co-ordinator, Rachel Hunter said: “This is a great development for us. It allows us to once again provide the much needed service to residents of Hambleton. “It means we can also work with even more partners to help reach those that find it difficult to access our services’.

Drop in is at Thirsk Clock on a Wednesday morning 10am until 12 noon, no appointment needed. Further details can be found on www.citizensadvicehrs.org.uk  Information is also available from the Hambleton office on 01609 776551.
