Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Marske HallFINAL preparations are underway for this  year’s Marske Hall Summer Fair taking place on Saturday 18 June from 11am – 3pm. Admission is free, donations welcome

The event promises to be one of the biggest summer fairs in the area and is held in the grounds of Marske Hall. It is the main fundraising event of the year and organisers are hoping to beat their target of £3,500. Highlights include the first ever visit from Kirkleatham animal encounter, fancy dress competition for youngsters and adults, Marske Silver Band, Laura Day and her singers, N.E.S.T Tae Kwondo demonstration, Fire Engines, donkey rides and lots more.

Bouncy castles and slides will add to the family fun and there will be a huge range of stalls to browse including home made cakes, books, toys, DVDs, bric-a-brac, plants, clothes and crafts. Refreshments including burgers from the outdoor barbecue will be on sale.

Visitors to the fair can have a go on the Winbola – a tombola where everyone wins a prize and also buy a ticket for the Grand Raffle.  Money raised from the event will help to improve the lives of residents of Marske Hall, a home for adults with disabilities run by the national charity Leonard Cheshire Disability.

There is a limited number of stall spaces eft to hire. Call 01642 482672. For more details  visit:  http://www.facebook.com/marskehall
