The fifth annual English Hair & Beauty Awards took place at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel on Sunday March 20th and the public voted in their thousands for their favourite hair and beauty specialists from all across the country.
Finalists from all across England attended the glamorous and prestigious ceremony, where winners were awarded the best in the hair and beauty industry.
Convey Salons who are based in Eston, were short-listed in the Salon of the Year category, and went on to scoop the prestigious award on the night naming them North East Salon of the Year 2016.

Michael Convey opened the salon in August 2009 and, having grown year on year, is about to expand even more later in 2016.
When first opened, the salon occupied a small space with just 4 styling stations. After two years it was obvious they had outgrown their existing salon and relocated to a much larger space which gave them the room to have 10 styling sections which still sits pride of place in the centre of the High Street, Eston.
Later this year Convey Salons will be expanding once again with the opening of a new salon.
The salon is growing from strength to strength and with an ever expanding team and client base.
Convey Salons pride themselves on customer service and believe that this, along with their outstanding hairdressing skill, results in the perfect salon experience.
The whole team undergo extensive training to keep them all at the cutting edge of the industry.
