Growing landlord Karbon Homes is celebrating after increasing its partnership with Citizens Advice.
Citizens Advice County Durham is providing office space in Chester-le-Street as a base for Karbon Homes to deliver its Online Owls and employability services.
Online Owls aims to help residents to access the internet and become more digitally included by teaching adults and young people basic IT skills, such as searching the internet, shopping online or applying for jobs.
Karbon Homes’ employability service, which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, will provide residents with training and advice around developing their CVs, job searching, training and identifying employment opportunities.
Both Citizens Advice County Durham and Karbon Homes are keen to help bring more services to the heart of the community.
Residents of Chester-le-Street can access these free services for help in securing employment and increasing their digital skills set every Thursday between 10amand 2.30pm.
