Greenbank Recycling Solutions recently welcomed Tees Valley Mayor, Ben Houchen, to its Teesside site for a tour and to share its exciting plans for the future.
Mr Houchen visited Greenbank’s offices and warehouse on Sotherby Road in Middlesbrough, to learn more about its innovative recycling solutions, the company’s strategy for expansion and recruitment, intentions to focus on driving carbon footprint reduction for its clients, and plans for sustainable local projects.
This year also sees Greenbank celebrate its 30th anniversary which it has marked by investing in a rebrand, as the company strives to move to the next level, with a corporate focus and a commitment to high quality products and levels of service, setting it apart from its competitors.
Managing Director, Gerry Carruth, Steven Evershed, Technical Director, Robin Evershed, Business Development Director, and Executive Assistant and Sales Manager, Suzanne McKie, met with Mr Houchen to discuss their growth plans for both Greenbank and their sister company, Cobalt Machinery, which specialises in polystyrene compactors. They also gave him insight into the company’s plans to become Net Zero and to help clients do the same, their intentions to create more jobs and discussed ways to educate businesses, both locally and nationally, on the best waste management solutions to help the environment.
Greenbank, which currently employs 38 people, offers a range of solutions that make waste management more efficient, from labour saving machinery to waste recycling and efficiencies. The company is a market leader in the UK, providing organisations with recycling machinery, consumables, as well as ongoing servicing contracts. Customers include big names such as Greggs and Currys, as well as independent businesses who recognise the importance of effective recycling processes.
